Chip Strickland began his career in Financial Services in 2009 after a successful 12-year stint as a small business owner in Northeast Georgia. Throughout the last decade, Chip has molded his experience working for a large insurance company and for a central regional bank into an Independent Financial Planning practice. His company, Foothills Financial Strategies, specializes in assisting small business owners and their families with their investments, business succession planning, and tax mitigation strategies. He has come full circle from his days as a small business owner and the unique challenges family-owned enterprises face in this increasingly complex financial environment.
Chip values time with his family making the most of every opportunity to create lasting memories together. A proud graduate of the University of Georgia, he remains an avid supporter of his alma mater, cheering on the Bulldogs at football and baseball games. An outdoor enthusiast, he has a passion for bird hunting—especially quail, pheasant, and duck—and enjoys skiing.
